About Dr. Golnaz
Dr. Golnaz was raised in Northern Virginia and is proud to be able to give back and serve her childhood community. She received all her education through dental school, here in Virginia. She went to Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia. She then went to The University of Virginia and received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with specialization in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University.
She completed an additional two years of pediatric dental training at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. During her specialty training, Dr. Golnaz received training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including emergency management of dentoalveolar trauma at a Level 1 Trauma Center, dental care of special needs patients, treatment under sedation and training in various behavior management techniques.
She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Golnaz is married and has two young daughters and a fluffy Goldendoodle. She and her family reside in Falls Church. On the weekends you can find them throughout Northern Virginia at various playgrounds, farmers markets, libraries or any other kid-friendly event! In her spare time she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and working out. She is even a fitness barre instructor at a studio in DC. Dr. Golnaz is fluent in English and Farsi and conversational in Spanish.
Using her patient, compassionate and gentle approach, she strives to make every child and family feel comfortable and educated about their oral healthcare. Your child’s health, comfort and smile are her top priority. She is excited to meet and care for your children’s oral health needs!
